Privacy Policy
Left doesn't collect your data. Your plan and spending stay on your device.
What Left stores
Left stores the information you enter: your income, recurring expenses, savings goals, and the spending you log, including categories and notes. It's saved locally on your iPhone and is never sent to me or to anyone else.
What Left doesn't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No bank or card connections.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking.
- No third-party SDKs that collect data.
- No servers. Left doesn't make network requests with your data.
Device backups
Like most apps, Left's data is included in your iPhone's iCloud or computer backups if you have them turned on. Those backups are managed by Apple and by you, under Apple's privacy policy. I can't access them.
Information from Apple
If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide me with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These don't identify you and don't include anything you've entered in Left. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Deleting your data
You can edit or delete any entry in the app. Deleting Left from your iPhone deletes all of its data.
Children
Left doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If Left ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before that version is released.
