It helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the Left version shown at the bottom of Settings.

How is my daily number calculated?

Your monthly income, minus recurring expenses and savings, divided by the number of days in the month. Tap the amount on Today to see exactly how the day's number was worked out.

What happens to money I don't spend?

It carries forward, so a quiet day makes tomorrow a little bigger. Spending more than you have available draws from the days ahead.

Should I log my bills as spending?

No. Recurring expenses and savings in your plan are already taken out before the daily number is set. Logging them again would count them twice.

Does Left connect to my bank?

No. Left is a manual budget: you log what you spend. It doesn't know your bank balance or whether income has arrived.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your iPhone. There's no account and nothing is synced to a server. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Edit or delete individual entries in the app, or delete Left from your iPhone to remove everything.
